Battleshvps (2016) #

After a long hiatus from music-making, I was feeling something of an itch. To scratch, my friend Justin Wright and I decided to start making some music with some synthesizers and drum-machines we had at our disposal. Although this venture was fleeting, the songs we created have etched a permanent place in our hearts. And by our hearts, I mean this abandoned soundcloud page.

These tracks remain as a raw, unmixed demo. Did we ever share these demos widely? No, we didn't. I don't recall exactly why we stopped the project, and listening back I feel like we were onto something. Maybe you'll hear it too. Take a listen and judge for yourself. Worthy?

If you're wondering about the "v" in the name, I honestly don't remember. My best guess is that it was a joke, possibly to avoid litigation with The Milton Bradley Company.
