Sweet Mother Logic (2007-2012) #

Between 2007 to 2012, I was a core member of the 5-piece Sweet Mother Logic.

Our songwriting was a fairly democratic process. We would record improvised sessions, and then whittle them down into carefully crafted songs. I played an assortment of keyboards—piano, rhodes, synthesizers, and organ. We performed many shows in and around Montreal, at venues ranging from diy spaces to concert-halls. After many fun years, I decided to put my animation career in focus. While I could no longer contribute to the band, I value the time spent creating and performing music, as it has significantly influenced my creative approach in all domains.

Inspirations include (but not limited to) Philip Glass, Terry Riley, Torngat, The Bad Plus, and Penguin Cafe Orchestra.
